NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee’s Chase Cunningham and Teldrick Ross were named the football Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association for their efforts in contests from November 14-20.
Cunningham returned to the lineup against Florida Atlantic after missing the previous week’s contest versus Charlotte. The Knoxville, Tenn., native turned in a career performance, completing 40-of-54 passes for a career-best 448 yards and five touchdowns.
